We also lay floor runners from the door to the truck path, because that much foot traffic over a finished floor is where damage actually happens.

That is a normal conversation for us. During the estimate we measure the pieces you care most about — the dining table, the sectional, the armoire — and check them against the new unit’s door widths, elevator dimensions and turns. It is far cheaper to find out in advance that the armoire does not make the corner than to pay to move it twice.
Can you do a Tech Center office move without shutting the office down?
That is how most of them get done. We move DTC offices in evening and weekend blocks, usually in phases by floor or department, so people leave on Friday from one desk and arrive Monday at another. Building engineers generally require dock scheduling and elevator protection, and we coordinate that directly.
Is Greenwood Village a separate city from Cherry Hills Village and the Denver Tech Center?
Greenwood Village and Cherry Hills Village are two separate municipalities that share a border, and the Denver Tech Center is a business district, not a city — much of it sits inside Greenwood Village along I-25. We mention it because addresses in this area get confused constantly, including by moving companies. Tell us the street and we will get it right.

Yes. Mirrors and glass tabletops go in custom-cut cartons. Framed art gets corner protection and a picture carton sized to it. Large or valuable pieces can be crated. Tell us during the estimate what needs crating so the materials are on the truck that morning.

These include parts of Belleview Avenue, University Boulevard, Orchard Road, Quebec Street, Yosemite Street and Arapahoe Road, plus I-25 and I-225. A truck may leave a route only at the intersection nearest the home. It must then take the shortest way in and back out. Off a route, the driver must carry a delivery slip or log showing where the trip starts and ends. The City posts a truck route map.
